Scott Rorie

Scott Rorie is an artist at heart, possessing a diverse background in Fine Art as well as the Culinary Arts, before beginning his 18-year film career. He is a natural leader and believes in leading by motivating people to want to give their best. Scott has worked on over 35 Feature films and Television shows and 100 plus commercials. He brings great clarity, organization and positivity to the table along with a team-oriented style.
Scott was born in Memphis and grew up in North Mississippi. He earned a BFA Fine Art. with an emphasis in Sculpture from U of Miss. 1994. Travelled extensively and cooked professionally during his college years.
Moved to Los Angeles in 1996 and lived and worked in Venice, CA as the studio Assistant to world-renowned metal Sculptor Guy Dill. Scott began his film career in Los Angeles in 1999. Worked his way up through the ranks as an assistant to join the Directors Guild of America. He relocated to Nashville in 2012 to work on Nashville. He was married to his wife Sara a singer-songwriter in 201 and they have two daughters that he of course adores.
