Exciting news for short film creators! Returning for the fifth year, the Roy W. Dean Short Film Grant is now accepting submissions. Offered by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit From the Heart Productions, this grant provides $3,000 in cash and thousands more in donated services to help independent filmmakers bring their vision to life.
The grant is open to narrative fiction short films, live-action or animated, up to 40 minutes in length. We are looking for projects that are unique and make a meaningful contribution to society.
Grant Awards Include:
$3,000 Cash Prize
- $3,000 in music and audio services from renowned composer David Raiklen
- $6,000 in animation services from Emmy Award-winning artist Charlie Canfield
- $1,400 value in sound mix sessions from Silver Sound
- And more valuable services from industry professionals supporting indie filmmaking
