If one of your goals in 2025 is to write a new feature-length screenplay or to give an old script a page-one rewrite, now is the time to pull all of your ideas and notes together as the Tennessee Screenwriting Association kicks off its ‘Script School’ program!
Script School lets screenwriters at all levels of experience and skill to set deadlines and hold themselves accountable. The program consists of ten sessions of instruction and guidance, followed by eight sessions of writing accountability. Each session will be separated by 2-3 weeks to give writers plenty of time to work on the homework assignments while maintaining forward progress.
Bob Giordano - writer, filmmaker, and former screenwriting teacher at Watkins Film College - is the Script School instructor. Course descriptions and class schedules are all available at TennScreen.com. Script School courses are free to the public, though study materials are available only to TSA Members.
Script School classes begin this Wednesday, February 19 at 7:00 pm (cst) at Nashville Film Institute (191 Polk Ave. 37210) or via Zoom.
Sponsored by the TN Entertainment Commission.
